At the end of March 2017, Spenglers Hotel Davos, located in one of the oldest and most popular Swiss resorts, received an official four-star certificate from Swiss Hotel Association. In early January 2017, Spenglers Hotel Davos successfully passed the certification audit by Swiss Hotel Association to qualify for the certificate. The auditing commission of the association assessed the building and the site of the hotel complex as well as the quality of service, staff performance, rooms, and technical equipment. Swiss Hotel Association represents 2000 hotels located in Switzerland and stands for high-quality service. Among the key tasks of the association is the classification of Swiss hotels, the representation of interests, as well as training and further education. The official opening of Spenglers Hotel Davos took place on 2 March 2017. Prior to that, the hotel was operating in test mode since December 2016. During this period, Spenglers Hotel Davos managed to create a positive image among its guests, particularly during the World Economic Forum in Davos, as it was one of the main hotels which hosted the participants of the Forum. The second part of the complex, which will include 8 apartments and a wellness centre, will be put into service by the end of 2017. The full completion of the project is planned for 2018.
